Every movement begins with a question.
Ours was simple: What if technology could truly belong to everyone?
Socio Skillsup was born from that question, founded by a group of changemakers who believed that disability should never mean disconnection. We saw young people, learners, and entrepreneurs with disabilities being left behind in a world that was moving faster and more digital every day. The gap was not in talent or ambition it was in access.
So, we built a bridge.
At Socio Skillsup, we design, develop, and deliver inclusive technology solutions that give people with disabilities the tools to learn, create, work, and thrive. From VR typing lessons that teach differently abled learners how to master digital literacy, to locally manufactured inclusive technologies. We are reimagining what technology looks like when it is designed for everyone, by people who understand disability.
We are not just a company; we are a movement.
A movement that believes innovation should speak in many languages spoken, signed, tactile, and visual. A movement that believes accessibility is not an afterthought but the starting point of design. A movement that knows the future is inclusive, and we are building it here in South Africa, for the world.
